Most weddings days are planned for a year and then over in one day. Shelly and Kumar’s wedding lasted almost a week! We were honored to be present for two of those days. The Sangeet was at the family home on Orchard Lake… when I say home I mean something off Cribs (MTV show)! It was a beautiful evening on the lake full of performances, dancing and incredible food form Rangoli Indian Cuisine. Next was the ceremony… and it just kept getting better, the Detroit Fillmore Theater! Most people attend the Fillmore to watch their favorite bands in concert… we were there to film a rock star type wedding! After the wedding it was off to the MGM Grand Casino for more awesome Bollywood style performances, Rangoli Cuisine and dancing into the night!
When filming a wedding it is always nice to work with other great professionals in the industry. We had the opportunity to work with Adam and Heather from Czap Studios for the first time at Shelly and Kumar’s wedding and it was a great experience. I have been a fan of their work for a long time and now a fan of the people behind the work as well!
