Taylor told us that Thomas fake proposed to her three times before he actually got down on one knee. She said that he would take her to all these beautiful places and say “Wouldn’t this be the most perfect spot to propose” but just end it there. So when he took her up to Big Bear for her birthday weekend, she was trying to not let his little inside joke ruin the weekend. They took a walk around the lake at sunset and while Taylor was snapping photos Thomas nonchalantly said “Wouldn’t this be the most perfect spot to propose… if I did I would say”. Taylor just rolled her eyes, turned away and continued snapping photos. She was trying to be a good sport and not get upset. When she finally noticed that he was really quiet she turned around and there he was down on one knee with the ring in hand. Turns out that this was the real proposal and she missed his whole speech!
